Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program Director

The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Zucker Hillside Hospital (ZHH) are seeking a full-time Child & Adolescent Fellowship Program Director. This role, based at Zucker Hillside Hospital, involves a split between program leadership and clinical work. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, mentoring, and curriculum development, dedicated to advancing Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

Practice Info

• This position is based at Zucker Hillside Hospital.
• The role is split between the Fellowship Program Director duties and clinical work.
• The Fellowship Program Director reports internally to the Division Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (DCAP).

Responsibilities

• Provide faculty oversight and evaluation.
• Recruit, oversee, and evaluate fellows.
• Oversee the clinical and didactic curricula.
• Conduct program assessment and ACGME reporting.

Shift & Schedule

• This is a full-time position.

Requirements

• Experience working within an academic department with ACGME training in General and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
• A passion for education, including teaching and learning, mentoring, curriculum and assessment development, and administration, dedicated to Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is required.
• Proactive and engaged colleague, with strong communication skills, a desire to innovate, and an ambition to lead the nation in the most effective ways of training the next generation of Child & Adolescent psychiatrists is required.
