Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Sanford Psychiatry and Psychology Clinic is seeking a BC/BE Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its outpatient practice in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The incoming provider will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, social workers, and support staff to provide comprehensive mental health care. Practice Info

• Outpatient practice
• Practice consists of physicians, psychologists, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, therapists, social worker, and nursing and front desk support staff
• Initial new patient appointments are 60 minutes in length
• Follow-up medication management appointments 30 minutes in length

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examination
• Admit (if applicable to the setting)
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat child and adolescent patients who suffer from mental, behavioral, addictive, or emotional disorders (e.g., psychoses, depression, anxiety disorders, substance abuse disorders, developmental disabilities, sexual dysfunctions, and adjustment disorders)

Requirements

• BC/BE Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Psychiatry residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
• No visa sponsorship available
