This is a unique100% outpatient psychiatry opportunity in partnership with theUniversity of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) , providing specialized psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities.

This position offers a predictableMonday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, or call responsibilities , making it an excellent opportunity for psychiatrists seeking meaningful clinical work and a strong work-life balance.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care forchildren, adolescents, and adults
• Evaluate and treat patients with:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Intellectual Disabilities (ID)
  • Developmental Disabilities (DD)
  • ADHD
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Mood disorders
  • Other co-occurring psychiatric conditions
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Supervise psychiatric nurse practitioners and other advanced practice providers
• Participate in the continued growth and development of the practice

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency program
• Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry preferred
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Eligible for medical licensure in Nebraska
• DEA license or ability to obtain
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience treating autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities
• Interest in collaborative and multidisciplinary care
• Experience supervising psychiatric nurse practitioners or other advanced practice providers
• Academic or teaching interests are welcomed.
