Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a successful, well-established group of providers. This role offers a collaborative environment with flexible scheduling within a multi-specialty group of adult and child/adolescent psychiatrists. The position serves a large referral area across western North Dakota, eastern Montana, and northern North Dakota, supported by a robust Behavioral Health staff.

Responsibilities

  • Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to children and adolescents who suffer from developmental, mental, behavioral, addictive, or emotional disorders

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Psychiatry residency program with two additional years of residency training in child and adolescent psychiatry accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
