Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Practice Info

• Part of a clinician-led care organization
• Practice medicine autonomously with support from a national healthcare organization
• Part of a team-based delivery model where primary & specialty care providers collaborate with hospital partners, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluations
• Develop and implement care plans, which include prescribing and regularly evaluating and modifying as appropriate
• Provide consultation to Primary Care Providers and other medical staff regarding behavioral health issues
• Triage patients to the appropriate level of care

Compensation

• Competitive compensation based on quality, not quantity
• Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $225,000 - $393,500
• Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements

• Ability to obtain unlimited MD or DO licensure in the state of Massachusetts prior to start
• Board Certified or board eligibility in Psychiatry
• Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum of 1-3 years of postgraduate experience
• One year of experience in an outpatient mental health setting preferred
