Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a growing behavioral health team in Layton, Utah. The physician will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents ages 4-18, including evaluations, medication management, and therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services as desired.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to mental health professionals.
Requirements:
- Graduation from a U.S. medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry Residency.
- Completion of a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Active Utah medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical environment.
