Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

An established outpatient behavioral health facility in Georgia is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry clinician for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP and ongoing. The provider will deliver outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and medication management primarily for children and adolescents, alongside some adult patients. This part-time, on-site role requires working approximately 2 days per week during day shift hours with no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management
• Conduct initial psychiatric evaluations (60-90 minutes)
• Conduct follow-up medication management visits (30 minutes) for patients presenting with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, behavioral and emotional disorders, trauma-related conditions, and psychotic disorders
• Collaborate with psychiatric, nursing, counseling, and community support staff within a multidisciplinary care environment

Requirements

• Board certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry required
