A community behavioral health organization in the Bay Area is seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist for a long-term locum tenens assignment starting in October 2026. This part-time hybrid position involves working with children and adolescent patients, focusing on a mix of new evaluations and follow-up appointments. The role offers flexibility in daily hours and is approximately a one-year assignment.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe psychiatric medications for pediatric patients
- Conduct new patient evaluations (60 minutes)
- Conduct follow-up visits (30 minutes)
- Treat PTSD, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, and co-occurring substance use disorders

Shift & Schedule
- Target start date: October 2026
- 2 days per week
- 8-hour days (approximately 16 hours weekly) with flexibility for 9-hour days
- 1–2 hours of administrative time built into each day
Requirements
- Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO)
- Active California license preferred
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe psychiatric medications for pediatric patients
