The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Zucker Hillside Hospital (ZHH) are seeking a Child & Adolescent Fellowship Program Director. This full-time position involves leadership in education, including teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and administration, alongside clinical work. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in training the next generation of Child & Adolescent psychiatrists.
Practice Info
- The position is split between the Fellowship Program Director role and clinical work aligned with the candidate's experience and interest.
- The Fellowship Program Director will report internally to the Division Director of the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (DCAP), and externally to relevant ACGME contacts.
Responsibilities
- Faculty oversight and evaluation
- Fellow recruitment, oversight and evaluation
- Oversight of the clinical and didactic curricula
- Program assessment and ACGME reporting
Compensation
- Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.

Requirements
- Passion for education, including teaching and learning, mentoring, curriculum and assessment development, and administration, dedicated to Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Experience working within an academic department with ACGME training in General and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Proactive and engaged colleague, with strong communication skills, a desire to innovate, and an ambition to lead the nation in the most effective ways of training the next generation of Child & Adolescent psychiatrists
