Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (Addiction-Oriented)

Job Overview

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist with experience or interest in treating substance use to join its growing outpatient faculty at the Emory Addiction Center. An ideal candidate would have interest and expertise in treating adolescents 12+ with co-occurring substance use disorders. There is flexibility in dividing clinical time between our adolescent and adult services based on level of interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in the adolescent outpatient services.
• Participate in education and program development.
• Manage clinical time between adolescent and adult services as desired.
• Joint faculty appointment at Emory University School of Medicine and Emory Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted license in the state of Georgia.
• Board-certified in Psychiatry.
• Board-eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and/or Addiction Psychiatry.
