Child Abuse Pediatrician

Sanford Children's Hospital and University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine are seeking a BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to join their team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This full-time position offers an exciting mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical practice, teaching, prevention work, research, and community involvement within a multidisciplinary setting. The successful candidate will be centered at Child's Voice, an NCA accredited hospital-based Child Advocacy Center providing medical evaluation for over 1,400 patients annually.

• Inpatient and outpatient clinical child abuse practice
• Centered at Child's Voice, an NCA accredited hospital based CAC
• Sanford Children's Hospital is the only free-standing children's hospital in the state of SD
• Program consists of the pediatric medical director, BC CAP, a PA, a NP, 3 forensic interviewers, nurses, patient support staff and family advocates

Responsibilities

• Perform medical evaluations for over 1400 patients each year
• Participate in teaching, prevention work, research, and community involvement in the multidisciplinary team
• Engage in clinical service as the primary focus of this position
