- Lead technical solution development for new captures and proposals responding to government RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought notices for IC and DoW programs
- Author technical volumes, white papers, and solution narratives from concept to completion
- Analyze and decompose complex government requirements across diverse mission areas and technical domains
- Collaborate with capture managers, business development leads, and subject matter experts to shape differentiated technical strategies
- Identify and integrate emerging technologies, architectures, and methodologies into proposed solutions
- Develop solution architectures, system designs, technical approaches, and implementation roadmaps tailored to customer needs
- Develop capability prototypes and architect solutions
- Engage government customers and stakeholders during pre-RFP shaping activities
- Provide technical bases of estimates and work breakdown structures to cost and pricing teams
- Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and government priorities within the intelligence domain
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Bachelor's degree plus 18 years of experience, or master's degree plus 14 years of experience
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical discipline
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph
- Experience with space systems, satellite architectures, ground systems, or space domain awareness
- Experience working in the defense industry supporting U.S. Government customers
- Track record supporting or leading technical proposals responding to government RFPs
- Experience supporting capture and business development activities
- Familiarity with government acquisition processes and proposal development lifecycles
- Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions across complex, multidisciplinary Space Systems, IT Systems, GEOINT, or SIGINT problem sets
- Ability to operate across a broad range of technical domains
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to structure solutions with incomplete information
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines
- Preferred: background in IT services, cloud solutions, or managed services for government customers
- Preferred: familiarity with IC systems, community customers, and mission sets
- Preferred: prior Solutions Architect or Chief Engineer experience on large government programs
- Preferred: advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Preferred: comfort using LLMs, writing code, and creating prototype tools
