Chief Solutions Architect

• Lead technical solution development for new captures and proposals responding to government RFPs, RFIs, and Sources Sought notices for IC and DoW programs
• Author technical volumes, white papers, and solution narratives from concept to completion
• Analyze and decompose complex government requirements across diverse mission areas and technical domains
• Collaborate with capture managers, business development leads, and subject matter experts to shape differentiated technical strategies
• Identify and integrate emerging technologies, architectures, and methodologies into proposed solutions
• Develop solution architectures, system designs, technical approaches, and implementation roadmaps tailored to customer needs
• Develop capability prototypes and architect solutions
• Engage government customers and stakeholders during pre-RFP shaping activities
• Provide technical bases of estimates and work breakdown structures to cost and pricing teams
• Monitor the competitive landscape, industry trends, and government priorities within the intelligence domain

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Bachelor's degree plus 18 years of experience, or master's degree plus 14 years of experience
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical discipline
• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a polygraph
• Experience with space systems, satellite architectures, ground systems, or space domain awareness
• Experience working in the defense industry supporting U.S. Government customers
• Track record supporting or leading technical proposals responding to government RFPs
• Experience supporting capture and business development activities
• Familiarity with government acquisition processes and proposal development lifecycles
• Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions across complex, multidisciplinary Space Systems, IT Systems, GEOINT, or SIGINT problem sets
• Ability to operate across a broad range of technical domains
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to structure solutions with incomplete information
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals under tight deadlines
• Preferred: background in IT services, cloud solutions, or managed services for government customers
• Preferred: familiarity with IC systems, community customers, and mission sets
• Preferred: prior Solutions Architect or Chief Engineer experience on large government programs
• Preferred: advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Preferred: comfort using LLMs, writing code, and creating prototype tools
