The Gordon Jewish Community Center is looking for an experienced, strategic, and collaborative leader to join our team as Chief Program Officer (CPO).
This role will provide leadership across a wide range of programs, including Children's Services, Camp Davis, Fitness, Aquatics, Cultural Arts, the Nashville Jewish Film Festival, Older Adult Programming, BBYO, Maccabi, teen programming, and campus-wide events.
As a member of the executive team, the CPO will help guide program strategy, support department leaders, strengthen community engagement, and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience
- Experience overseeing multiple programs or departments
- Strong strategic planning and financial management skills
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and support teams
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in a nonprofit, recreation, camp, community organization, or similar mission-driven environment is a plus
