A privately held real estate investment, development, and management company is seeking a hands-on operations executive to work directly with ownership. This role combines business operations, financial analysis, and project oversight, with the opportunity to grow into a broader executive leadership position.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with ownership on daily operations, business priorities, and strategic initiatives.
- Review budgets, forecasts, cash flow, project costs, and financial performance.
- Monitor development and construction project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
- Manage banking relationships, track loan maturities, and prepare construction loan draws.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, project feasibility, capital requirements, and returns.
- Identify operational efficiencies and improvements in reporting and workflows.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, property managers, lenders, and external advisors.
- Serve as the primary liaison with outside accountants and provide financial information for tax filings.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in real estate development, construction, investment, or property management.
- Experience in business operations, project management, and/or real estate finance.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, project economics, and investment returns.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, self-directed, and comfortable working directly with ownership in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
