Chief Operating Officer (COO)The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will provide strategic and operational leadership for all program operations including behavioral health, autism services, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and long-term care programs. This executive position is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, quality of care, and sustainable long-term success of existing and future program offerings. Reporting to the President & CEO, the COO will ensure the highest quality of service delivery through the effective coordination of all operational activities focused on advancing exceptional healthcare services within the Michigan communities served.Education & Experience • Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related clinical area; OR possess a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, with at least 8 years in senior leadership roles • Extensive experience in operations of behavioral health, disability services, or similar healthcare services, programs, or settings • Experience leading large, complex healthcare organizations with multiple service lines and locations • Demonstrated success in managing complex payer relationships and funding streams • Track record of successful service line expansion and integration initiatives
