Northwell Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Chief, Urology at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a culture of scholarship within the Department of Urology. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth and excellence of urologic care within Northwell Health's extensive network.

Responsibilities

• Work with the urology system chair and regional director on all matters related to clinical operations.
• Ensure high-quality patient care through the development and standardization of care processes and protocols.
• Continue to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity, and outcomes.
• Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and support staff.

Requirements

• MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Completion of residency and fellowship with Board Certification or eligibility.
• Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
• Outstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff.
• Previous division, department, or program leadership.
