This role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a culture of scholarship within the Department of Urology. The successful candidate will join Northwell Health's extensive network, contributing to comprehensive urologic care and academic development.

  • Academic appointment to Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the urology system chair and regional director on all matters related to clinical operations.
  • Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols.
  • Continue to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity and outcomes.
  • Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and support staff.

Requirements

  • MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
  • Completion of residency and fellowship with Board Certification or eligibility.
  • Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
  • Outstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff.
  • Previous division, department, or program leadership.
