Northwell Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as Chief, Urology at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and fostering a culture of scholarship within the Department of Urology. The successful candidate will join Northwell Health's extensive network, contributing to comprehensive urologic care and academic development.

- Academic appointment to Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience.
Responsibilities
- Work with the urology system chair and regional director on all matters related to clinical operations.
- Ensure high quality patient care through development and standardization of care processes and protocols.
- Continue to develop a culture of scholarship in quality improvement, health equity and outcomes.
- Ensure the productivity of physician faculty and support staff.

Requirements
- MD Degree or equivalent from an accredited College of Medicine.
- Completion of residency and fellowship with Board Certification or eligibility.
- Currently licensed as a physician in the State of New York.
- Outstanding communication and management skills, and an ability to work collaboratively with medical staff, hospital management, and staff.
- Previous division, department, or program leadership.
