Chief Of StaffBronx, New YorkAs the founding Chief of Staff at Bold Charter School, you will be part of a mission-driven and outcomes-oriented organization focused on building world-class schools. You will work closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to implement the organization's strategic priorities. You will join a collaborative team of professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of educational excellence.To help us achieve our vision, we are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of aligned leadership experience. A JD, MBA or graduate degree in a related field and experience in a K-12 setting are preferred. Ideal candidates will have a creative and solutions-oriented mindset, a foundational belief that every child deserves a world-class education, and a commitment to learning and internalizing Bold's model, vision, and values as they support the organization's strategic growth.Key PrioritiesWork closely with leadership to implement strategic priorities, ensuring that Bold's strategic vision is executed at a high levelDesign and implement scalable systems that support the organization as it grows and expands its impactManage charter development, annual compliance, and state reporting with school authorizer(s)Manage development of school policies and compliance measures, working closely with leadership team and legal counselSupport preparation, presentation development, and communications for board and other meetingsDemonstrating a mission-first mindset to ensure all decisions and actions are rooted in ensuring that all students excelStrong Candidates Will:Have strategic project management experience at the senior organizational levelDemonstrate an ability to multitask effectively and prioritize strategically, moving fluidly between high-level strategic thinking and operational detailsHave an ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive outcomesBe a person of high moral character and with well-developed emotional intelligenceHave a keen eye for detail and proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining organizational systems and policiesAbility to partner with a broad range of stakeholders with varied interests and needsDemonstrate a strong commitment to and alignment with the mission, beliefs, and values of BoldHold a commitment to solutions-based problem solving and previous experience of suchHold a Bachelor's degree with an outstanding record of achievement and leadership; advanced degree preferred (JD, MPA, MBA, or other relevant degree)Start DateThe start date for this position is flexible, with opportunities for remote/hybrid work.
