Chief of Staff - Scaling Advertising Firm - Onsite in Los Angeles
The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in supporting the leadership team across operations, finance, and people operations. This position will manage key strategic initiatives, drive operational excellence, optimize financial performance, and oversee HR functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The Chief of Staff will act as a key advisor to senior leadership, ensuring the efficient execution of plans, monitoring performance metrics, and helping implement scalable solutions across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations across multiple departments, ensuring streamlined workflows, process optimization, and alignment with company objectives.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance business performance.
- Analyze business processes and make recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and implement scalable systems and practices to support business growth and ensure consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate with finance to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and provide recommendations for operational adjustments.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure financial goals are met and resources are utilized effectively.
Human Resources:
- Lead talent acquisition, employee development, and retention strategies.
- Advise on employee relations, organizational culture, and employee engagement initiatives to maintain a high-performance work environment.
- Ensure HR compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
Strategic Execution:
- Work closely with the executive team to identify and execute key strategic initiatives in alignment with the company's mission and vision.
- Assist in the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic plans.
- Provide leadership support in key decision-making processes, offering insight into operational, financial, and human resources matters.
Project Management:
- Drive the successful execution of cross-functional projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and resources are managed efficiently.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and overcoming obstacles as they arise.
- Lead efforts to improve operational workflows and ensure projects align with business objectives.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a communication bridge between departments, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on key operational, financial, and HR initiatives to the executive team.
- Facilitate internal meetings and strategic discussions to promote collaboration and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, financial analysis, and human resources in a corporate setting.
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Expertise in HR practices, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
