Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chief of Child Neurology to lead our growing pediatric neurology team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full‑time position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance.

Your role includes:

  • Leading a team of child neurologists
  • Collaborating with other leaders and teams in the inpatient and outpatient setting to support high-quality, mission-driven care
  • Outpatient clinics
  • Inpatient consultative services and hospital-based care

  • Participation in multidisciplinary pediatric care teams

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Child Neurology.
  • Training: Completion of an ACGME Accredited Pediatric Neurology Residency Program.
  • Subspecialty expertise in epilepsy, neuromuscular or sleep would be appreciated but not required for this leadership position.
  • License: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.
  • Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third‑party payors and ability to enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
  • Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of clinical practice
  • Previous Leadership experience or experience building a Pediatric Neurology program
