Responsibilities
- Improve Dermatology care for Optum Massachusetts patients through dynamic leadership and collaboration
- Identify cost-effective best practices across the state, new technologies, unify patient and clinician experience, and aid in recruiting
- Manage and deliver care to ensure the department's patients receive high quality, patient centric and safe care
- Serve as a clinical leader interface between the Specialty Administration and physicians
- Communicate with departments across Optum Massachusetts to promote understanding and alignment with strategic goals
- Oversee implementation of organizational initiatives at the local level and plan and manage on-going projects within the department
- Implement cost savings measures within the department and maximize use of organizational clinical and non-clinical resources
- Drive change within the department using organizational tools and encourage involvement and creativity of clinical and non-clinical staff
Compensation
- Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $237,500 - $387,500
- Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
- May increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements
- Licensed in the State of Massachusetts as a Medical Doctor (M.D.), Board Certified
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty
- Preferred: Additional degree(s) in business administration, public health or clinical operations desirable
- Preferred: 3+ years of clinical leadership experience
