Chief of Dermatology & Mohs Surgery
Carilion Clinic, in partnership with Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, is seeking a Chief of Dermatology & Mohs Surgery to lead an established team of 14 physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. This leadership opportunity is within an academic, multisite practice located in Roanoke, Virginia. The role offers significant teaching, research, and mentorship opportunities within a comprehensive health system.

- Located at Carilion Clinic Riverside Complex, on the outskirts of Roanoke's Downtown District.
- New, state-of-the-art facility located on the Medical School campus across the street from Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
- Provide comprehensive dermatologic, cosmetic, and micrographic surgery & dermatologic oncology to a catchment area of over 1 million people.
Responsibilities
- Lead an established team of 14 physicians and Advance Practice Providers in an academic, multisite practice.
- Engage in teaching, research, and mentorship opportunities.
- Provide the highest level of comprehensive dermatologic, cosmetic, and micrographic surgery & dermatologic oncology.
Compensation
- Salary Range, $615,479 to $729,537.
- Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary.
- Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary.

- CME - Specific time provided and that there is additional dollars for it.
- Incentive Pay: Base Salary plus two (2) potential bonuses.

Shift & Schedule
- CME - Specific time provided.
Requirements
- Current board certification in Dermatology.
- 5 years of progressive Dermatology leadership in an academic setting with a rank of Associate Professor or Professor.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience with team building; development of integrated collaborative models of care, education, and research; and managing people and programs.
- Experience with graduate medical education is preferred.
