Chief Medical Officer

Providing strategic direction and clinical expertise, the full-time Chief Medical Officer will oversee clinical operations, manage medical cost initiatives, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Oversees all clinical aspects of the health plan, including medical and pharmacy management and utilization review Fosters relationships with physicians and partners on performance management and alignment of incentives Directs medical management activities and quality programs to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies Required qualifications MD or D.O. degree with Board Certification and current unrestricted medical license 15+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, including 7+ years in leadership roles Demonstrated experience in clinical practice and substantial Medicare Advantage experience Deep understanding of population health, managed care, and healthcare financing Proven track record in administrative clinical leadership and quality improvement strategies
