Position Title: Fractional Chief Medical Officer (CMO) – Immunology / Allergy

Location: United States (Remote)

Engagement: Fractional / Part-Time

Clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on immune modulation and inflammatory disease , with a core emphasis on allergic and immune-mediated conditions .

The company is advancing differentiated, disease-modifying clinical programs in Allergy, supported by deep immunology expertise and a strong translational foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior medical and clinical development leadership across immune-focused and allergy programs
  • Lead and evolve overall clinical development strategy, with particular emphasis on late-stage (Phase II / III) readiness
  • Provide medical oversight for clinical trial design, including endpoint strategy, protocol development, and data interpretation
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs and support interactions with global regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, EMA)
  • Partner closely with Clinical Operations to support trial execution, CRO oversight, and operational feasibility
  • Provide strategic guidance on portfolio prioritization and development planning in alignment with company objectives
  • Support investigator engagement, key opinion leader (KOL) interactions, and external scientific collaborations
  • Contribute to senior-level clinical and development decision making

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) required
  • Deep expertise in Immunology and Inflammation ; experience in Allergy strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership across multiple phases of clinical development, including late-stage programs
  • Prior experience supporting Phase IIb / III trials and registrational strategy
  • Track record of engagement with US and/or ex-US regulatory authorities
  • Comfortable operating in a fractional / part-time executive capacity within a clinical-stage biotech environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across scientific, clinical, regulatory, and operational teams
