To drive security initiatives at a rapidly growing company, the full-time Chief Information Security Officer will own Eon's security strategy, lead the internal security program, and represent the organization to customers and regulators in a remote capacity. Key responsibilities Define and manage Eon's overall security strategy, roadmap, and budget while briefing the executive team and board on risk and investment priorities Establish compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP, managing audits and maintaining continuous readiness Partner with Engineering and Product teams to integrate secure-by-design principles into development processes and manage incident response operations Required qualifications 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in senior security leadership roles at enterprise SaaS or cloud companies Proven experience building and scaling security programs in high-growth environments Hands-on knowledge of cloud, SaaS, infrastructure security, and data protection Direct experience managing SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP compliance programs Strong executive-level communication skills, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers
