Fractional CFO (Remote, Contract)

An established, high-revenue business is seeking a Fractional CFO to provide strategic financial leadership on a part-time, remote basis. This is a six-month contract requiring approximately 10–15 hours per week, ideal for an experienced finance leader seeking a flexible engagement. The role is open to candidates anywhere in the U.S. , with preference given to those able to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours .
Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance
- Lead the transition to QuickBooks
- Advise on business structures, tax strategies, and international expansion
- Manage cash flow, banking, and financial strategies
- Support M&A preparation, due diligence, and exit planning
- Provide strategic guidance on growth and risk management
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 10+ years in senior finance leadership roles (CFO, Controller, or similar)
- Strong background in e-commerce models (Amazon, drop shipping, consignment)
- Advanced QuickBooks expertise
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, compliance, and tax regulations
- Experience working remotely and managing distributed teams
- Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours
