Chief Financial OfficerCentennial is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead a Pennsylvania distributor of plumbing, HVAC, PVF, and hydronic supplies with 44 locations across five states: with 450+ employees and a strong family-owned culture. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Team and a strategic partner to the President, ownership, and Board. This role provides financial leadership, operational insight, and disciplined oversight to drive growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.The CFO oversees all financial functions—including accounting, FP&A, treasury, credit and collections, tax, audit, and risk management—and plays a critical role in supporting the family office, real estate entities, and governance structures.Key Responsibilities:1.

Strategic Financial LeadershipServe as a trusted advisor to the President, ownership, and executive teamProvide data-driven insights to support decision-making and value creation2. Accounting, Reporting & ComplianceOversee all accounting operations (GL, A/P, A/R, payroll) and GAAP complianceLead external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting3. Financial Planning & Performance AnalysisLead annual budgeting and ongoing forecastingDevelop KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting toolsProvide scenario modeling and financial analysis for strategic initiatives4.

Treasury, Cash & Capital ManagementManage cash flow, liquidity, and working capitalOversee banking relationships, financing, and capital structure5. Credit & Risk ManagementEstablish and oversee credit policies and risk frameworksManage insurance programs and enterprise risk mitigation6. M&A and Strategic GrowthLead financial modeling, valuation, and due diligenceSupport integration of acquired businessesEvaluate ROI on capital investments, expansions, and new locations7.

Family Office, Board & GovernanceServe as liaison to the family office, Board of Directors, and related business entitiesPrepare and present board and family office materialsSupport tax strategy, estate planning, and coordination with external advisorsEnsure transparency and governance across all related entities8. Real Estate, Banking & Insurance OversightOversee financial strategy and performance of the company's real estate portfolioOversee insurance programs including workers' compensation and auto9. Leadership & Organizational DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing finance organizationSupport HR, benefits, and administrative functions as neededFoster a culture aligned with company values and performance expectationsExperience & QualificationsEducation· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required· CPA required or strongly preferred· MBA or advanced degree preferredExperience· Prior CFO or senior finance executive experience required· Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or multi-location environments preferred· M&A and capital investment experience required· Big 4 and family-owned/private company experience preferred
