A top Civil construction firm, with a strong reputation for technical excellence, is looking for a Chief Estimator to manage the estimating process, prepare bids, and lead a team of estimators.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in heavy / civil construction and strong supervisory skills.
This is a key leadership role with the ability to drive strategy and mentor staff.

Responsibilities
- Develop accurate cost estimates using AGTEK and HCSS
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope
- Lead all aspects of the estimating process for heavy civil construction projects
- Solicit and review subcontractor bids
- Evaluate alternative construction methods and value engineering options
- Present estimates, schedules, and value engineering recommendations to Executive Leadership Team
- Partner with operations to ensure seamless project handoff
- Oversee and orchestrate the work of estimating team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in heavy civil estimating
- Robust knowledge of construction methods, market pricing and materials
- Proficiency in estimating software: AGTEK or HCSS HIGHLY PREFERED
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
