Chief Estimator | McCormick Experience Required | Commercial Electrical Construction (Remote - GA or FL)
Gryphon Oakwood is partnered with a leading electrical contractor to hire a Remote Chief Estimator . This fully remote opportunity is for an experienced electrical estimator based in Georgia or Florida with proven hands‑on McCormick Estimating Software experience . You'll lead the estimating function, pricing complex commercial and multifamily electrical projects.
Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Produce take‑offs and develop competitive bid strategies
- Build and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identify risks, value engineering, and cost‑saving opportunities
- Partner with preconstruction and operations throughout the bid process
- Support project handover following award
Requirements
- Proven experience using McCormick Estimating Software is essential
- Proven success pricing complex commercial and multifamily electrical projects
- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Able to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be based in Georgia or Florida
