Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the estimating department.
- Establish company-wide estimating standards and best practices.
- Oversee conceptual, design-build, and hard-bid estimates for HVAC and plumbing.
- Review final bid submissions and budgets for accuracy and scope coverage.
- Mentor and coach estimating team members to improve performance.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
- Analyze labor productivity and material costs to improve bid accuracy.
- Build relationships with subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive pricing.
- Support business development by participating in client presentations and interviews.
