In this key leadership role, you will modernize Enterprise Architecture into a product-centric, business-enabling capability that helps teams move faster, scale AI and data, and align products, platforms, and technology across the enterprise.Key Responsibilities:Define and lead Corning's Enterprise Architecture vision, principles, and operating modelBuild and evolve a modern EA practice focused on speed, agility, and business valuePartner with product, platform, and data leaders to support Corning's transition to a product operating modelEstablish enterprise patterns, guardrails, and reference architectures to improve integration and reduce frictionHelp scale AI, data, and platform capabilities across the organizationCollaborate with InfoSec, Legal, and technology leaders to embed governance, security, and compliance into architectureLead and mentor a federated architecture community across solution, platform, and data architectureExperiences/Education - Required:15+ years of enterprise architecture or related technical leadership experience5+ years in a senior architecture leadership roleExperience transforming Enterprise Architecture from a traditional centralized model to a federated, product-aligned approachStrong expertise in enterprise data architecture, AI/ML, GenAI, Agentic AI, and LLMsProven ability to influence across business and technology leadership in a complex global organizationExperience building enterprise standards, governance models, and architectural guardrailsExperiences/Education - Desired:Experience in manufacturing, industrial, R&D, or materials science environmentsCloud platform expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCPBackground leading large-scale digital transformation initiativesFamiliarity with product management frameworks and product-centric operating modelsWhy This Role Matters:This is an opportunity to define how architecture drives business value at scale. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.Corning offers you the total package.
