Job Description and Duties
Under the direction of the Office Building Manager III, the Chief Engineer II in the Facilities Management Division supervises the daily building and engineering operations, maintenance, special projects and repairs of building systems including heating, ventilating, refrigeration, and air‑conditioning systems, auxiliary electrical plants and other mechanical and power equipment in State‑owned and occupied buildings in accordance with FMD guidelines and manuals.

Compliance and Certification
The position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The appointee must complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. May be required to obtain EPA 608 and/or backflow certification upon appointment. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship by the start date of employment.
