Core Responsibilities

• Department Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Systems Maintenance: Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
• Preventative Maintenance: Run routine property inspections and keep detailed service logs.
• Vendor & Project Management: Coordinate third-party contractors and handle property improvement plans.
• Compliance & Safety: Meet local, state, and federal building codes (OSHA, EPA, and fire safety standards).
• Budgeting & Sustainability: Control repair costs, order supplies, and drive energy-efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Building maintenance or hotel engineering experience, including prior supervisory experience.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; trade school or vocational training in a technical field is preferred but not necessary.
