## Chief Engineer* Fort Lauderdale* RotationListed on: 12 Oct 2026### SummaryChief Engineer position - 50m - Motor yacht### Description50 meter private/charter yacht is looking for a rotational Y2 Chief Engineer.- 490 GT - Cayman Islands flag, commercial yacht, ABS classed- 12 guests / 10 crew- Twin Caterpillar 3512 main engines, approx. 3,356 kW total (4,500 hp), twin shafts, Reintjes WVS 730 gearboxes, approx. 18.5 kn- 2 x Northern Lights M1066A1 (John Deere) 130 kW generators- Quantum QC-1500E zero-speed stabilizers with QIS-160 HPU- 2 x FCI Neptune watermakers (2,500 GPD), Alfa Laval fuel purifier- Owner-run program with charterTHE ROLE- Chief Engineer on rotation (2:2, time for time)- Minimum MCA Y2 (or equivalent) given the 3,356 kW propulsion power; Y1/Unlimited welcome- Caterpillar experience strongly preferred, plus aluminium hull experience- Ideally joining late October / early November in Fort LauderdaleDUAL SEASON PROGRAMMust have B1/B2 and Schengen Visas if required.Point of contact is
