About this Role

The Chief Development and Investor Relations Officer at Partners for the Common Good is a pivotal role responsible for advancing the organization’s strategic goals through effective development planning and fundraising initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will lead efforts to increase capitalization and secure financial sustainability for PCG and its affiliated entities. The incumbent will engage with institutional funders, banks, foundations, and mission-aligned partners to support the broader mission. The role involves overseeing a team dedicated to fundraising, education programs, and impact measurement while collaborating with senior staff to anticipate and meet future funding demands. In addition to supervising development staff, the officer will manage project assignments, ensure alignment with strategic impact goals, and uphold an environment that values mutual respect and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team responsible for fundraising, education programs, and impact measurement.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior staff to develop a multiyear development strategy.
• Lead fundraising efforts, securing grants, sponsorships, and donations.
• Serve as project manager for government grant applications and tax credit initiatives.
• Cultivate loan capital and program-related investments for the Partners Loan Fund.
• Align impact data collection and dissemination with strategic goals.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and contacts within the CDFI, community development finance, or related investor sectors.
• Experience in raising loan capital in the financial services sector.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills and strategic thinking ability.
• Self-starter with strong organizing skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor’s and master’s degree in a related field.
• Outstanding writing, speaking, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
