Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative and postoperative care for Sacred Heart Emerald Coast, covering general, ortho (including spine), and OB/GYN services.
- Establish and maintain standards of patient care as it relates to anesthesia, including initiating medical care evaluation studies after consultation with administration of the Facility and as needed to ensure quality patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality, safety, and appropriateness of patient care services provided within the Department and take appropriate action based on such findings.
- Represent the department on the Medical Staff of the facility, serve as liaison between the department and other departments of the Facility, and attend and report on activities of the Department at the various committees and general meetings.
- Work closely with Sound, hospital administrators, and surgeons.
Compensation
- Robust compensation package with guaranteed base salary of $575,000-$615,000 and opportunity to maximize income.
- Annual chief stipend of $30,000 for admin duties.
- $100,000 commencement bonus.

Requirements
- Completion of a US Residency.
- Board certification in Anesthesia.
- Active FL license.
