Chief Accounting Officer – Seat at the Table!
Fairfax County, Virginia Community Bank has an immediate need for a Chief Accounting Officer. The role will be responsible for staff development, internal and regulatory financial reporting, management reporting, and maintaining a visible presence within the organization.
Base pay range
$200,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the accounting department's activities daily
- Strategic planning, financial controls, and working with auditors
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, compliance, external, and management reporting
- Board reporting
- Work with the Regulators, Audit Committee, and Board
Ideal Background
- A Banker with prior Controllership experience = A MUST
- Hands‑on experienced LEADER
- Financial Reporting experience working for a Bank
- Monthly Close and Reporting experience
- SEC Reporting experience is a plus
