We have been retained to recruit a Chief Accounting Officer/Treasurer for a publicly traded company based in McLean, Virginia. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the CAO serves as a critical, strategic member of the senior management team. This high-visibility executive will oversee all global accounting functions, SEC reporting, technical accounting, and treasury operations, while frequently interfacing with the Board of Directors, lenders, and the Audit Committee. Compensation includes a base of $350K plus bonus & equity. Must have CPA, ideally ex-Big 4 public accounting and public company reporting. The role is hybrid (1 day/week in office) thus, ONLY Local candidates to the DMV area will be considered.
