Are you ready to kickstart your career in the chemical industry? We're seeking a motivated Chemical Production Operator to join our dynamic team in Mt. Holly, NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and operate key production processes within our Care Chemicals Business Unit.
- Ensure safety through knowledge of OSHA procedures and plant hazard identification.
- Perform tasks such as drumming/repackaging, bulk material transfers, and general equipment troubleshooting.
- Operate a forklift and assist with training new operators.
- Complete and maintain required plant documentation (batch sheets, SOPs, logs, etc.).
- High school diploma required; prior chemical experience is a plus.
- Strong math, computer, and reading comprehension skills.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in varying conditions (hot, cold, wet environments).
- Competitive pay at $25/hour .
- Rotating schedule offering variety and flexibility.
- Schedule rotates days working to include 2 days on and 2 days off, then 3 days on and 3 days off. You only work 15 days per month!
