Chemical Process TechnicianWe are looking for a Chemical Process Technician in Battle Creek, MI to perform chemical batch processing for our client. Candidates must be able to work alternating 1st and 2nd shifts.ResponsibilitiesSafe operation of dry powder batch processingInterfacing with product, equipment, and team members in activities such as operation of chemical processes, packaging product and other operational activities as assigned.Identification of and reporting of safety violations or concerns.Demonstrating good safety standardsTroubleshooting equipmentOperating material handling equipmentQualifications2+ years of chemical batch processing experienceExperience with food or pharmaceutical processing is strongly desiredStrong overall computer skillsMust work well in a team environment and independentlyDemonstrate good work habits (attendance, safety, housekeeping, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to work 24/7 rotating shiftsAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Be open and able to occasionally wear a Pressurized Air Purifying RespiratorAble to safely ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs during the shift.
