Put your valuable skills to work and join us!SummaryThe Production Operator supports the safe, efficient operation of the production process and equipment used in the manufacture of LSPI's flow-improver products. Production Operators perform a range of production activities including equipment operation, material handling, quality checks, and basic equipment care in accordance with established procedures, safety standards, and production requirements.

Incumbents contribute to consistent product quality and reliable plant operations through effective execution, communication, and coordination across plant functions. Works under the supervision of the Shift Foreman. Role may include other duties as assigned. This is a safety sensitive position working a rotating 12-hour shift.We offer a competitive, non-negotiable starting wage of $20.00 per hour for this position.ResponsibilitiesOperate production equipment and execute processes in accordance with authorized operating procedures and work instructions.Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment to support safe and efficient production operations.Handle and move products and materials using forklift equipment.Follow established procedures and work instructions related to each process area; provide input for improvements as appropriate.Accurately record production data using Microsoft Excel and other internal systems.Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment.Follow all safety policies and procedures; ensure equipment is operated safely and promote safe work practices in all activities.Ensure product quality by performing sampling and testing process streams, interpreting results, and taking appropriate corrective action when required.Identify and troubleshoot causes of non-conforming products; coordinate with appropriate personnel to resolve issues.Support process reliability and performance by identifying issues and participating in improvement efforts with cross-functional teams.Perform basic equipment care, including inspections and minor maintenance; document activities and coordinate with maintenance specialists as needed.Communicate clearly and proactively with plant personnel, including production, engineering, and maintenance; escalate equipment issues and communicate needs related to maintenance and spare parts.Participate in training and development activities to build technical and operational capability.Perform other duties as assigned.Skills & CompetenciesAbility to understand and follow technical instructions, procedures and safety requirements written in EnglishMechanical and technical aptitude related to equipment and process operationsAttention to detail and ability to accurately perform measurements, testing, and data entryProblem-solving skills to identify issues and take appropriate action within defined proceduresCommunication and coordination skills to effectively work across production, maintenance, and technical functionsAbility to learn and apply new processes, systems, and technologiesEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferred Skills & CompetenciesAssociate's degree or technical certification from an accredited schoolOne or more years of experience working in an operating plant environmentExperience operating a forkliftExperience operating valves, gauging tanks, and/or performing maintenance on equipmentValid driver's licenseJob & Physical RequirementsMust be at least 18 years oldWork rotating 12-hour shifts and ability to do call out workLift and carry loads of up to 50 lbsClimb various ladders and stairs to operate valves, gauge tanks, or perform maintenance on equipmentWalk, stand, stoop, sit, climb, and carry material on even and uneven terrainWear personal protective equipment (PPE)Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
