Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM
About the Role
Chemical Operator
This position involves running and monitoring chemical processing equipment in a plant environment. The Chemical Operator oversees full production cycles, maintains equipment performance, and ensures all tasks follow established procedures and safety practices.
Responsibilities
Chemical Operator

• Operate various chemical processing units such as reactors, pumps, centrifuges, filtration systems, distillation units, and extraction equipment
• Load and unload raw materials, intermediates, and finished products
• Monitor controls, gauges, and instrumentation throughout production cycles
• Make adjustments to valves and system settings based on readings and reactions
• Follow documented procedures to maintain safe and consistent operation
• Work around corrosives, acids, and other chemical substances using proper PPE, including a respirator
• Maintain a clean and efficient work area and support general mechanical tasks

Preferred Experience & Skills
Chemical Operator

• Background in chemical handling or production
• Comfortable wearing a respirator
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Experience working around corrosives and acids
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to follow step-by-step procedures

• Interviews will be conducted directly with the supervisor
• Pay range: $24-$25 per hour
