Chemical OperatorExpress Employment Professionals is hiring five Chemical Operators for an established chemical manufacturing facility in Gainesville, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to begin or advance a career in chemical manufacturing. Chemical Operators will learn chemical-processing and material-handling procedures, operate production equipment, and complete multiple job certifications.Pay: $24.18 per hour to start.

All 12 hours are paid, including the lunch period.Schedule: This position follows a rotating 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule:• Day shift: 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.• Night shift: 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.Employees rotate between day and night shift approximately every 90 days.Week One: Work Monday and Tuesday, off Wednesday and Thursday, work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Week Two: Off Monday and Tuesday, work Wednesday and Thursday, off Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Candidates must be able to work both day and night shifts, including every other weekend.Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire.Responsibilities:Follow safety procedures, standard operating procedures, batch sheets, and supervisor instructionsSet up, operate, monitor, and clean chemical-processing equipmentHandle, weigh, sample, label, and transport chemical materials safelyComplete production and process documentation accuratelyEnter information using computer-based production systemsDisassemble, clean, and reassemble process filters and equipmentOperate valves, switches, regulators, and heating and cooling systems as trainedMove full 55-gallon drums safely on and off palletsTransport cylinders and manually load 25-kilogram bags into processing equipmentMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaComplete required training and job certificationsWork cooperatively with supervisors and other production employeesRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to rotate between day and night shifts every 90 daysAbility to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekendAbility to lift 50 pounds regularlyAbility to climb multiple steps throughout the shiftAbility to pass required medical clearance and wear a full-face respiratorBasic computer proficiencyAbility to read and follow detailed written proceduresStrong attention to safety, quality, and accurate documentationDependable attendance and reliable transportationAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Previous chemical, industrial, or manufacturing experienceForklift experienceExperience using computerized production or inventory systemsImportant Schedule Requirement: Please apply only if you can work both 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. shifts.
