Job Title: Operations Technician – Chemical Manufacturing
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Pay Rate: $28/hour w2
Duration: Contract | Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
Job Summary:
Seeking Operations Technicians to handle returned chemical containers, perform decontamination, acid washing, nitrogen purging, vessel rebuilding, and chemical filling.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, and rebuild chemical vessels.
- Handle acids, acetone, IPA, and other chemicals safely.
- Use hand tools, including torque wrenches.
- Inspect containers, perform data entry, and maintain documentation.
- Assist with material receiving and equipment troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working with chemicals and solvents, including acids, acetone, and isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
- Must be clean-shaven for full-face respirator use.
- Comfortable handling chemicals and wearing required PPE.
- SAP experience highly preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred; onsite training available.
- Must pass the required physical evaluation, background check, and drug screening.
