Chemical Engineer – Chemical R&D | Connecticut

A growing chemical R&D organization is seeking a Process Engineer to join a highly technical, hands-on laboratory team.

What you’ll do:

• Lead and execute chemical process development and experimental research
• Operate advanced laboratory reactors and process analytical technologies
• Analyze reaction kinetics, crystallization, mass/energy balances, and experimental data
• Troubleshoot results and make technical recommendations
• Prepare technical reports and present findings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage project timelines

What we’re looking for:

• BS in Chemical Engineering + 2+ years of relevant laboratory experience or MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering
• Hands-on experience with laboratory reactors and analytical equipment
• Strong data analysis, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or contract research environments preferred
• Familiarity with Aspen, Dynochem, COMSOL, MATLAB, or DesignExpert is a plus
