CHB Operations AssociateAs a CHB Operations Associate, you play a critical role in ensuring our customers' imports move smoothly, compliantly, and on time. You will manage end-to-end customs brokerage operations for a dedicated portfolio of accounts, partnering closely with customers, carriers, government agencies, and internal teams.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and wants to build strong expertise in customs brokerage while contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.What You'll DoYou will take ownership of daily customs brokerage operations for assigned customers, including:Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers, responding to questions and providing timely, accurate shipment updatesPrepare and process U.S. Customs entries and Partner Government Agency (PGA) filings, ensuring full regulatory complianceOpen and manage entry files in alignment with defined KPIs and service standardsCoordinate shipment clearance with freight forwarders, steamship lines, airlines, and container freight stations (CFS) to ensure timely releaseTrack and trace inbound shipments from port or airport through final deliveryEnsure all required documentation and entry packages are accurately uploaded into operating systemsComplete customer billing, delivery orders, and required operational reportsMaintain and update customer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as neededCollaborate closely with teammates and cross-functional partners to support coverage, cross-training, and peak-volume needsWhat Success Looks LikeYou'll be successful in this role if you consistently demonstrate:Timely and accurate processing of shipments within agreed KPIsHigh attention to detail and data accuracyStrong adherence to company policies and all CBP and PGA regulationsProactive communication and follow-through with customers and internal partnersReliable submission of delivery orders and required documentationYour ImpactIn this role, you are accountable for helping drive:Customer experience & quality – delivering on service commitments and building trustCompliance & process maturity – ensuring regulatory adherence and operational consistencyOperational efficiency & cost control – supporting productivity and standardized processesTechnology adoption – contributing to continuous improvement and digital transformation initiativesWho You'll Work WithInternal partners include:CHB Operations Managers and LeadersSenior CHB Operations AssociatesRegional CHB LeadershipProgram and Implementation ManagersCHB Compliance and IT teamsExternal partners include:Assigned customs brokerage customersGovernment agencies (CBP, FDA, USDA, and others)CHB systems and technology vendorsRequired / Preferred Qualifications:6–12 months of customs brokerage or related industry experienceAt least 2 years in a CHB or operational support environment preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressureAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentTeam-focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountabilityBachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)Customs House Broker License preferred but not requiredRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of CHB6 -12 months of experience in the industryKnowledge of Section 232 IEEPA tariff structureExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate confidentlyPersistently drives issues to closureWell organized, detail oriented – especially when working under pressureWorks together with others in the business unit to achieve results, fosters teamworkAbility to multi-task in a face paced environmentBachelor's degree preferred but not required, or equivalent work experienceCustoms House Brokerage License preferred but not requiredSalary: $56,000 - $60,000*Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match* The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position.

The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.
