Job Summary:

The Charge RN – Main Operating Room provides clinical leadership while delivering exceptional perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role coordinates daily operations, supports nursing staff, collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and ensures safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the surgical process.

Required Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program

Licensure & Certifications:

• California Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS – American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 90 days of hire)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year RN experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
• RN Leadership experience
• Minimum 2 years of recent Peri-Anesthesia RN experience
• Acute Care Hospital experience
• Operating Room / Perioperative nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Charge Nurse experience
• Main Operating Room experience
• Perioperative Services leadership
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
• Quality improvement and staff mentoring experience
