Charge Master Auditor

Executing charge-related audits, the full-time Charge Master Auditor will perform detailed audits on inpatient and outpatient accounts, provide education to clinical departments on charging processes, and work to resolve charge-related discrepancies, all while operating remotely. Key responsibilities Perform detailed charge audits, evaluate the appropriateness of services and procedures charged, and communicate findings to management and staff Develop and provide educational sessions for clinical staff regarding charge capture processes based on audit findings Research and resolve charge-related errors to reduce Accounts Receivable on Unbilled Accounts and ensure timely billing Required qualifications High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) certification or equivalent preferred 1-2 years of equivalent experience required; 3-5 years preferred
