Job Summary
Leads change management initiatives, with a strong focus on enabling people-side transitions related to business operations and organizational strategy. Responsible for developing and executing change strategies that promote user adoption, engagement, and sustainability of new methods of working, with an emphasis on ERP implementations and system optimization efforts. Partners closely with strategic consulting, project teams, business owners, and senior leadership to accelerate adoption, minimize resistance, and support institutional success through thoughtful change.
Responsibilities
- Applies structured change management methodology to lead strategic initiatives and support institutional goals
- Develops and executes change strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and communication plans
- Conducts stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness assessments, and resistance management strategies
- Partners with project teams and business owners to support smooth transitions and end-user adoption
- Creates and implements training plans and knowledge transfer strategies that build capacity and self-sufficiency
- Facilitates workshops, training sessions, and other activities to increase organizational readiness and user competency
- Tracks adoption metrics, gathers feedback, and reports progress to leadership
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with organizational goals
- Facilitates change network engagement, focus groups, and feedback loops to monitor organizational sentiment
- Collaborates across divisions and project teams to align change activities with institutional priorities and culture
- Supports the integration of change management into project lifecycles and institutional strategic planning
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, Information Technology, or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience in organizational change management and/or project management, with direct experience supporting complex enterprise-level technology projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in change management (e.g., Prosci®, ACMP, CCMP), PMP or Agile project management
- An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
- Workday experience (implementation, optimization, or sustainment), preferably within a higher education or public sector context
- Higher education experience
Proposed Salary
The budgeted salary range is $86,000 - $96,000 per year. Offers are based on relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 13 paid holidays, vacation, generous retirement plans, tuition waiver, wellness options, and more.

- Abilities : Able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership; comfortable operating in a matrixed environment with cross-functional teams; able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
- Knowledge : Deep understanding of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., Prosci), and tools; experience managing multiple, concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced setting; familiarity with higher education culture and structure preferred
- Skills : Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, time management, project management, and presentation skills; strong communication and facilitation skills across diverse stakeholder groups; competence in developing change metrics, dashboards, and feedback loops to track success; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; strong attention to detail and follow up skills; strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette

This is not a supervisory position. This position does not have any financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is not considered a position of trust. This position does not require a purchasing card (P-Card). Travel may be 1% - 24% of the time.
